Produced at “La Gloria” sugar mill in the state of Veracruz, this rum is born thanks to the experience of a family with Cuban heritage and over fifty years of sugar producing tradition...

It all began in the year 1949 when our founder José Seoane Lavín brought to Mexico, directly from the Cuban province of Camagüey, a special type of cane named "Jaronu". We then combined it with the best Mexican sugarcane varieties to create our own "Caña Diamante®," or "Diamond Cane", which we use to carefully prepare every bottle of Ron La Gloria.
The unique and exclusive “Caña Diamante®,”which is distinguished for having more abundant molasses and richer sugars, is selectively planted on 80 acres of the sugarcane plantation "El Tamarindo". Situated on the banks of the La Antigua River, this site has excellent black soil, which is perfectly suited for the sugarcane cultivation using a drip irrigation system.

Thus, we proudly introduce a well-balanced rum with personality and an unbeatable flavor that, upon tasting, will take you to Cuba while making you feel like you’re at La Gloria.

Veracruz is Mexico’s biggest sugar producing state, but more than that, it’s a place filled with magic and full of traditions. The music and the taste of sugar, tobacco, vanilla, and coffee are present everywhere.
